The only way to acquire your personal European Chainsaw Certificate is by taking an ECC assessment in an accredited assessment centre. You can find an assessment centre nearby in our database.

Do I need training?

That’s up to you. ECC-assessments are open for all. No matter if you gained your skills and knowledge by formal training or by years of good experience, the bar has been set at the same height.

If you’re taking chainsaw training, make sure you double check if your training centre is working according to the European Chainsaw Standards.
